It is super creamy! The creaminess is beyond your imagination. The texture is light, and the ice cream literally melts in your mouth.

It is sugar-free! Because mangoes are naturally very sweet, you don't need to add sugar to them.

Homemade Mango Ice Cream Ingredient breakdown

Homemade Mango Ice Cream Ingredients

Here is everything you need for this ice cream:

Mango: The main hero of this ice cream is the mangoes. This tropical fruit is also known as the king of all fruits. That's because it has a very sweet, rich, and out of this world flavor. When choosing mangoes from this ice cream, make sure you choose the ones that are completely ripe. Ripe mangoes are the sweetest.

Lime: Juice from fresh lime will add a slight acidity to the ice cream. It also balances out the sweetness of the mangoes. You can use lemon juice instead of lime juice as well.

Coconut milk: Because it is a dairy-free recipe, you are going to replace dairy milk with coconut milk. Coconut milk is rich, creamy, and gives the ice cream the creamy texture you crave.

Cinnamon: A dash of cinnamon adds a beautifully warm and comforting flavor to the dish.

Salt: Adding salt will help in bringing out the flavor of the mango, however, this is an optional ingredient.

Vanilla Extract: for flavor, optional

Brown Sugar: Optional

Can you use light coconut milk?

Most people ask if they can use light coconut milk instead of full-fat coconut milk. Yes, you can use it but keep in mind it won't be as creamy as you desire. To ensure the ice cream is creamy, you need fat from coconut milk. So, choose organic, creamy coconut milk. Also, don't substitute almond milk for coconut

You won't get the same texture with almond milk, either.

Can You Make Vegan Mango Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker?

Suppose you don't have an ice-cream churner, no problem! You can still make creamy and tasteful mango ice cream. All you have to do is freeze the mango chunks before blending. Secondly, you will have to work a little harder by placing the prepared ice cream mixture in a freezer-safe container. Put it in the freezer and stir after regular intervals. Remember that stirring is crucial. This way, you will get perfectly smooth ice cream.
