THC Infused Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispies Treats (Adult Only)
- 3 Oz Cannabutter Cold
- 16 Oz Marshmallows
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 5½ Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- 1½ Tablespoons Pumpkin Spice or Pumpkin Pie Spice
Pumpkin Spice Rice Kripies Treats (Kid Friendly)
- 3 Oz Unsalted Butter Cold
- 16 Oz Marshmallows
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 5½ Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- 1½ Tablespoons Pumpkin Spice
Place a deep and thick sauce pan on a medium/low flame and immediately add the cold cannabutter or cold unsalted butter. Once the butter begins to melt, in about 30 seconds, add half of the marshmallows and constantly stir to speed up the melting process. Remove the saucepan from the flame and add the remaining marshmallows, along with 2 teaspoons of the pumpkin spice and vanilla. Continue to stir until most of the marshmallows are melted and only a little visible. Add the rice krispies cereal to the pumpkin spice marshmallow mixture and quickly stir to incorporate and marshmallow string appear throughout the mixture. Place half the mixture in the parchment paper lined baking dish and press to remove any air pockets.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice evenly on top of the pressed mixture before placing the other half of the mixture on top and press to remove air pocket and sprinkle the remaining pumpkin spice evenly on the top. Cover with a clean towel and set aside to cool for at least 15 minutes.
Remove the cooled treat from the baking dish and place on a cutting board.
Using a sharp knife, cut the treat into 6 even pieces, then cut each piece in half.
Enjoy immediately or store 1 inch apart on parchment paper and in an air tight container.
