Jamaican Chocolate Tea
Traditional Jamaican Christmas Chocolate Tea
- 2 Balls Raw Jamaican Chocolate Grated
- 4 Cup Water
- ½ Whole Nutmeg Grated
- ¼ Teaspoon Salt Optional
- 1 Dried Cinnamon Leaf or ½ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 4 Tablespoon Sweetened Condensed Milk or Vegan Condensed Milk
Pour the water in the saucepan and bring to a boil on medium high heat.
Once to water begins to boil, add the grated cocoa, nutmeg, cinnamon leaf and salt and stir.
Turn the flame to medium low and allow this chocolate tea to boil for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, turn the flame off and allow the chocolate tea to steep for another 10 minutes with the lid on
Strain, Sweeten and Serve with your favourite Jamaican Breakfast.
