Jamaican Corned Beef Recipe

  • 1 Can Corned Beef
  • 1 Small Onion Sliced
  • 1 Cup Bell Peppers Sliced
  • 1 Teaspoon Scotch Bonnet Pepper Optional
  • 1 Sprig Thyme
  • 3 Cloves Garlic Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoon Cooking Oil


  • On a medium flame, heat cooking oil in a large frying pan or skillet.
  • Add and saute the onions, sweet pepper, thyme, garlic and scotch bonnet pepper. Saute for about 3 minutes.
  • After 3 minutes, add the canned corned beef and mash the block of beef with your cooking utensil.
  • Turn the flame to a low heat and stir the mashed corned beef into the sauteed vegetables.
  • Once the corned beef becomes soft, sprinkle with black pepper and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
